Allow me to introduce myself
Somewhere between becoming a mother, learning to care for my ever-changing body, and searching for a deeper meaning in everyday life, I realized something important: true health isn't just about what we eat or how we exercise. It's about how we live, how we show up for our families, and how connected we feel to ourselves and our communities. This space is where I will share that journey- the messy, beautiful, ever-evolving pursuit of living well.
Allow me to introduce myself- my name is Michaela and I am a 40 year old wife and mother. I have the autoimmune disease Ulcerative Colitis. I have been a student and teacher of yoga for a decade. I have a degree in psychology. I love to cook and -most importantly- to eat! Every week, I will share my experiences, struggles, and (hopefully) my victories. Most women are balancing so many things all the time that it can feel more like treading water. I'm here to connect and share what works for me. As life continues to prove, balance isn't something we find- it's something we build.
